Lucian Piane (Music) graduated from NYU with a B.M in music composition, where he was awarded the Alan Menken scholarship for his work. Since then, he has worked as musical assistant/apprentice to Marc Shaiman on such projects as the Broadway musical "Hairspray," The 76th and 77th Annual Academy Awards, "I Enjoy Being A Girl" Gap campaign with Sarah Jessica Parker, Martin Short's new Broadway show "Fame Becomes Me," Marc's new Broadway musical version of "Catch Me If You Can," and a new musical feature film, "Bob." His music can currently be heard on a TV spot for Special K Snack Bites. He loves Special K! He is currently collaborating and writing pop songs for himself and other artists.
